About to hit the hay, gotta be fresh for the new job. JAmming on Kansas. While writing my short story, the channel I was listening to (912, music choice classic rock channel on suddenlink cable) began playing music by Wings, and a song by The Band called The Weight. I was writing about a guy at the time who felt like the weight of the world was on his shoulders, who is head of operations for a search party for a plane wreck. I couldn't pass on the irony, and worked it into my story because you just can't make up stuff like that.

Quitting my job with the state to go work at the local newspaper. Hey, it may be at the bottom, but its a foot in the door. This should make my dog happy, as I can spend more time with him at home. Jamming on Tesla - Mechanical Resonance album. Required listening for 80's hard rock fans.

Sometimes you just need to vent.
I thought I'd make a blog to post nonsense. RIP Ronnie James Dio. When I heard he died I listened to Holy Diver all night. Sixx Sense is a good radio show, give it a listen. Be excellent to each other.
